The Northcenter Chamber of Commerce is a business and community development organization committed to making Northcenter a better place for businesses and residents.
What began as a small merchants’ organization has evolved into one of Chicago’s largest and most active neighborhood small business organizations, with more than 350 members and counting!
As the Service Provider for Special Service Area #38, the Chamber works with vendors to provide “clean and green” services including landscaping, litter abatement, sidewalk snow removal and more to promote the cleanliness, safety and sustainability of our beloved neighborhood.

The Northcenter Chamber employs a variety of programs, events, and initiatives to help local businesses grow and connect with the community. Whether well established, new to the neighborhood, or just starting out, we exist to help businesses achieve their fullest potential. There’s room for everyone at the Chamber table.

Connection
The Chamber is an excellent resource for both businesses and residents. From helping start-ups navigate opening and hosting monthly networking events, to holding vibrant community events and creating public plazas like the Town Square, the Chamber is always seeking ways to create connections within Northcenter.

Community
A packed calendar of free, seasonal community programming combines neighborhood fun for all ages with opportunities for businesses and residents to engage with one another. A highlight each summer is our signature event, Ribfest Chicago. For over 20 years we’ve hosted this event and introduced 50,000 guests annually to our neighborhood.
Philanthropy
Reinvesting in our community is a top priority, and since 2008 the Northcenter Chamber has contributed more than $350,000 to local schools and nonprofits through its innovative Ribfest Chicago philanthropy programs.
