Bojitt Studio
Located on Ravenswood Ave near Grace St, Bojitt Studio opened in December 2021. Bojitt Studio is a bright and warm space, made especially inviting with owner and artist Bojana Ilic’s vibrant and colorful artwork featured throughout. Visitors can shop in person and also attend art workshops led by Bojana.
A Chicago artist by way of Serbia, Bojana has been creating her art pieces and outdoor murals in the city for more than 15 years. Bojitt Studio is not simply an art gallery. One of Bojana’s main goals as an artist is to connect art, culture and community. She is passionate about removing barriers to public art within our community. She is also interested in creating master classes to provide business consulting to fellow artists, as well as helping them hone their unique styles.
Originally a clothing and textile designer, Bojana sometimes works as a personal wardrobe stylist, helping individuals bring out their own personal style. She also brings live art painting, music, energy and fun to business and corporate events. She works with interior designers, private collectors and individuals looking to commission art pieces. One of her murals, E Pluribus Unum, or “out of many, one” can be found in Uptown and embodies her message supporting inclusivity and community. Check out her mural yourself at 4232 N. Broadway Ave.
Bojitt’s workshops are intended to be empowering and therapeutic. Individuals, groups of friends, families and couples gather to create their very own art pieces. It’s a great way to learn something new, cultivate your skills as an artist and “paint your stress out” in a positive and uplifting environment. A special Valentine’s workshop will take place on February 10th, space is limited so book your date night early!
Bojitt studio is offering original art, as well as artful home and fashion items for sale. Open Monday-Friday, 12-5 pm (call ahead for an appointment) and Saturday by appointment only. There will be an open studio night every other month, next up on February 5th.
